Geothermal technology captures the natural heat energy generated and stored by our planet.
Here’s two amazing facts about Earth’s natural and fully renewable energy resources:
The core of our planet is as hot as our sun due to the chemical activity of pressurized gases and continuous decay of radioactive elements. Earth’s core will remain this hot for approximately another 2 billion years, ranging temperatures between 7,952° Fahrenheit (4,400° Celsius) to about 10,800° Fahrenheit (6,000° Celsius).
The earth also absorbs heat from the sun and becomes a solar battery of sorts, converting solar energy into another form of heat to likewise support life on the surface of the planet. Due to only partial absorption of the solar radiation, Earth’s surface keeps at a constant temperature of 50°F to 70°F depending on the geographic location.
In short, our geothermal technology employs underground loops to expel the heat into the ground during the summer and bring up the heat during the winter. We have designed a smart underground loop system to capitalize on the contrast between temperatures at surface and in the deeper layers of the earth, so as to deliver the appropriate amount of energy for heating or cooling with the help of a refrigeration-based condenser.
This energy-exchange process is natural, effective and, better yet, exchange systems are simple, durable and easy to maintain.
